Are you a bridge-builder between complex logistics processes and cutting-edge ERP solutions? We are looking for a driven MES & ERP Consultant to lead international software implementations, specifically within the high-stakes world of automotive and manufacturing. In this role, you won’t just implement software—you will optimize the way global industries move.
- Implementation & Project Leadership: You will lead the introduction of our ERP solutions, managing both standard rollouts and custom adaptations for national and international clients.
- Strategic Concept Development: You design functional and data model expansions, creating intuitive user interfaces and modern workflow concepts.
- End-to-End Project Management: You take full ownership of planning, controlling, and documenting implementation and development projects.
- Upgrades & Continuous Improvement: You manage standard software updates and individual customer upgrades to ensure long-term system performance.
- Empowerment: You provide high-level training and support to ensure our clients get the maximum value out of their digital ecosystem.
Qualifications that inspire us
- Experience: You bring a proven track record in ERP consulting, specifically focusing on logistics processes within the automotive supplier industry (both serial and discrete manufacturing).
- Domain Expertise: You have deep knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles, including demand management, warehousing, and shipping/outbound logistics.
- Digital Communication: You are experienced in managing EDI communication and data exchange between partners in the automotive sector, regardless of the underlying IT systems.
- Education: You have a university degree in business informatics, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Alternatively, you have relevant experience in the aforementioned areas
- Language: For our US activities, in addition to professional English skills, a good command of German (C1) is also required.
Nice to have:
- Experience with IAI – Industrial AI
- Experience with MS SQL databases
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Crystal Reports.
- A strong background in Business Process Optimization (AS-IS analysis).
- Willingness to travel to client sites to lead projects where the action is.
