Tasks inspiring you

  • Strategic and disciplinary leadership: You will lead the legal department team, foster the individual professional development of your team members, and enhance a solution-oriented, entrepreneurial culture.
  • Top-Level Advisory Role: You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Executive Board, management, and subsidiaries on all strategic and complex legal matters
  • Corporate Governance and Compliance: You are responsible for, or support, the further development and implementation of the company-wide compliance structure, particularly with regard to data protection (GDPR), critical infrastructure, IT security (e.g., NIS 2), and new technologies (e.g., AI Regulation).
  • Contract and Risk Management: You will oversee the review, drafting, and negotiation of strategically important contracts, particularly in the IT environment, and optimize group-wide contract management.
  • Steering and Coordination: You are responsible for managing external attorneys and, when necessary, representing the company’s interests in M&A projects or significant legal disputes.
  • Knowledge Management: Through targeted training for specialists and managers, you ensure that relevant legal knowledge is embedded within the group.

Qualifications that inspire us

  • Qualifications: You are a fully qualified attorney (m/f/d) who has successfully passed both German state exams. Training as a specialist attorney in IT law is desirable.
  • Leadership Experience: You have several years of verifiable experience in the professional and disciplinary leadership of legal teams in a technical environment.
  • Professional Experience: You have extensive, multi-year professional experience in the legal department of an internationally operating (IT) company or in a business-focused law firm.
  • Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of contract law, IT law, and data protection law. Experience in corporate law, public procurement law, or labor law is a plus.
  • Skills: You excel at balancing operational needs with legal requirements. You take a proactive, decisive, and entrepreneurial approach to your work.
  • Languages: You negotiate confidently and fluently in both German and English. Knowledge of Polish would be an additional advantage.
