For one of our strategically most important new products, we are looking for you as an experienced Solution Architect - Cloud (m/f/d) to work with our development teams to design a modern, secure and scalable cloud architecture.

Your mission

• Design modern IT architectures taking into account corporate strategy, cloud governance and technology roadmaps
• Supporting the implementation of product and technology roadmaps
• Identifying technological trends and recognising relevant, innovative approaches in the development of the control system of the future
• Creating and maintaining clear, robust architecture specifications and documentation in accordance with recognised architecture standards (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate)
• Ensuring compliance and security requirements (e.g. NIS2, IEC 62443, ISO 27001) as well as economic aspects (e.g. cost optimisation in the cloud)
• Close collaboration with product management, development teams and other stakeholders

Qualifications that inspire us

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field
• Several years of experience as a solution, lead or enterprise architect in cloud-based, industrial software projects - ideally in the energy or KRITIS environment
• Experience in system integration and the operation of high-availability systems
• In-depth expertise in cloud technologies and hybrid architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, open source tools such as Kafka, ELK)
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, governance and cost optimisation
• Confident handling of architecture methods and frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe Solution Architecture)
• Good judgement in weighing uptechnical, economic and scheduling aspects
• Strong communication skills, initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to inspire and manage international teams in German and English
